The role of the Government Documents Round Table (GODORT) of Michigan is to promote the effective use of government information and publications issued at all levels of government. GODORT MI is comprised of individuals with an interest in preserving and promoting the use of government information and serves as a venue for conversation, collaboration, and continuing education within the state of Michigan.

While GODORT MI is affiliated with the American Library Association’s (ALA) GODORT, one does not need to be a member of ALA’s GODORT, or any other professional organization, to become a member of GODORT MI. GODORT MI membership is open to anyone who has an interest in preserving free access to government information.

GODORT MI is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

Membership Information

The Government Documents Round Table of Michigan is a group dedicated to promoting the effective use of publications and other information products issued by all levels of government.

Don’t just sit there–get involved today. Whatever you’re interested in — federal, state, local, foreign, or international — there’s a place for you. Volunteer and influence what programs are held. Network. Help spread information about government documents/information products far and wide. Join and help support our programming and information sharing.

The current membership fee is $20. The membership year runs from July 1 to June 30. Make checks payable to GODORT of Michigan and send them to the GODORT Treasurer.
