The role of the Government Documents Round Table (GODORT) of Michigan is to promote the effective use of government information and publications issued at all levels of government. GODORT MI is comprised of individuals with an interest in preserving and promoting the use of government information and serves as a venue for conversation, collaboration, and continuing education within the state of Michigan.
While GODORT MI is affiliated with the American Library Association’s (ALA) GODORT, one does not need to be a member of ALA’s GODORT, or any other professional organization, to become a member of GODORT MI. GODORT MI membership is open to anyone who has an interest in preserving free access to government information.
GODORT MI is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
